GIBO: Getting Indian Business Online" project is sponsored by Soofi Group and restricted to local Indian Business houses.

  • Thank you for your interest in the Getting Indian Business Online project “GIBO Project”. Soofi Web Services, Soofi Group has worked vigorously to provide GIBO Project related tools and services posted at www.GIBO.in “Site”. We hope you enjoy using them.
  • These are the terms and conditions which govern Indian businesses participation as a business user of GIBO Project. You will be deemed to have accepted them if you use any of the services offered through the GIBO Project Site. These terms form a contract between you & Soofi Group.
  • The key service offered through the GIBO Project is the ability for Indian businesses to:
    • set up a free website for their business use;
    • combine that free website with a free website address (“domain name”);
    • have that free domain name or free website automatically indexed in major search engines.
  • Free Website
    • To avail free website through GIBO Project, Indian businesses will need to submit a completed online form available here: http://www.gibo.in/register-domain-name.php .
    • The free website offer on the GIBO Project Site is provided to Indian businesses by Soofi Group subject to availability of resources with the Soofi Group .
    • Submitting an online form through GIBO Project Site does not in any way guarantee Indian business a free site. GIBO Project team will carefully review and evaluate form submission seeking free business website with GIBO Project.
  • Free Domain Name
    • The free domain name registration service offered on the GIBO Project Site is provided to Indian business by the GIBO.in, part of Soofi Group.
    • By requesting a free domain name via the GIBO Project Site, Indian businesses agree to GIBO Projects terms, except that:
      • Indian businesses will not be charged a fee when they acquire their domain name through the GIBO Project Site for initial year;
      • If after first year Indian business wish to continue to have their domain name, Indian business will have to pay GIBO.in, part of Soofi Group (or their nominee). To facilitate this renewal process, GIBO.in, part of Soofi Group will send the administrative contact recorded for their business domain name links enabling that contact to renew the domain name registration for further duration at the time.
      • Indian businesses free domain name will auto-magically redirect to the free website you have developed through the GIBO Project during the same session, and the only way Indian business can change this is by sending an email or calling one of the polite customer service manager over at the Soofi Group contact number advertised on the GIBO Project Site (0-9814110007).
      • Indian businesses cannot transfer free domain name to be administered by another domain name registrar within the first 60 days of its registration.
    • Pre-registered domain names of the Indian businesses with the another domain name provider can be used under the GIBO Project, however Soofi Group has no responsibility to Indian businesses concerning any such domain name.
  • Restrictions
    • Indian businesses agree not to:
      • Use the free web site offer or free domain name registration service for any purpose other than to promote their Indian business;
      • Request for more than one free domain name and, or free website through the GIBO Project Site;
      • Knowingly permit anyone to ask for a second free domain name to promote the same Indian business;
      • Use free domain name for any other purpose than to promote the Indian business;
      • Sell their free domain name or the free website developed through the GIBO Project for money or money’s worth, except in the context of selling their Indian business as a going concern.
    • Under the GIBO Project there are strict restrictions on the type of content Indian businesses can post on their developed free website. Indian businesses agree not to post adult or gambling related content under these strict restrictions.
  • Data protection and privacy
    • Any data including personal data which is being entered into the GIBO Project Site will be held securely by Soofi Group. Soofi Group will share this information with trusted third parties involved in the GIBO Project in order to operate the service (including the free website developed and the free domain name registered), and they may contact Indian businesses to help them benefit from the service. Soofi Group will not share personal data with other third parties unless Indian businesses have given their consent or through options available in subsequent communications.
    • When requesting a free domain name, Soofi Group is obliged to provide registrant details to ResellerClub.com, a body which offers registration of .in & .co. domain name s to the Soofi Group .
    • If at any time Indian businesses wish to change any of the information which appears on their site, they need to do this by using the control panel or administration panel facilities in the free websites.
    • Soofi Group will embed the GIBO Project logo in the free website. This logo should remain intact if Indian businesses wish to receive after-development support.
  • Changes and third party services
    • Soofi Group reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete portions of these terms at any time without further notice. If Soofi Group does this, Soofi Group will post the new terms on the GIBO Project Site. The continued use of the site Indian businesses have availed via GIBO Project, or the GIBO Project Site after any such changes constitutes their acceptance of the new terms.
    • Soofi Group may change the GIBO Project Site and the services offered through it from time to time without liability. Soofi Group does not accept responsibility for or endorse any third party services offered through the GIBO Project Site.
  • Withdrawal of services.
    • If you use the GIBO Project Site or any of the services offered through the GIBO Project Site in contravention of these terms, or of any other terms referred to in these terms, or if you use them against the spirit of the GIBO Project:
      • free domain name; and
      • the free website developed through the GIBO Project Site,
      • hosting service for the free website developed under the GIBO Project Site (if any),
      may be withdrawn from Indian Businesses.
    • Soofi Group may end or suspend GIBO Project Site or the GIBO Project at any time at their sole discretion without any liability to anybody. This will not affect the existence of Indian business sites for minimum 1 year from existence.
